I
was born in Malatya, the city of apricots. My music life started when
I was in primary school. My primary school teacher taught me my first
music lessons. Later I took music courses in Public Teaching Houses.
Before my military service, I recorded 4 single plays when I was 16-17
years old.
After the military service, I got a job in a bank as an officer. While
working in the bank, about 6 year, I was practicing Turkish Folk Music
as a hobby.
One day, I have joined to Ankara Radio eliminations for Turkish Folk
Music Performers and finally passed and joined the radio artists.
I have worked in radio and television programs as a Turkish Folk Music
Performer.
Year 1982, My first professional performance on the stage, since than
I recorded 22 albums and take place in 9 movies.

Now I am still performing Turkish Folk Music as an artist of Turkish
Ministry of Culture.
I am married and proud of my wife, my two daughters and my son.
